SEO for South African small businesses
Sites structured and optimised to rank, so the people already searching for what you do find you instead of a competitor.
What I work on
- Technical SEO: indexing, sitemaps, redirects, broken links and page speed
- Local SEO: your Google Business Profile, reviews and consistent business details across directories
- On-page SEO: titles, headings and service pages built around real searches
- Structured data so Google understands your business, services and location
- Afrikaans keywords, which are often far less competitive than the English ones
- Reporting from Google Search Console, in plain language
What to expect
SEO is slow by nature. Technical fixes can show up within weeks, but rankings for competitive terms usually take months of steady work. You will always know what was done and what it is doing, and I will not promise a number-one ranking, because nobody honestly can.
SEO starts with the website
Most ranking problems come from how the site is built: one page trying to rank for everything, slow images, missing titles. Every site I build starts with that structure in place, and I can audit and fix an existing site too.
Questions
How long until I see results?
Technical fixes and Google Business Profile work can show results within weeks. Competitive rankings usually take three to six months or more.
Do you do SEO for websites you didn’t build?
Yes. It starts with an audit of your current site, then a list of fixes in order of impact.
Do you guarantee a first-page ranking?
No. Anyone who guarantees rankings is guessing. I focus on the things that move rankings and report honestly on progress.
