Terms and Conditions – MJDesigns Website Subscription Services

By subscribing to MJDesigns services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Service Overview

MJDesigns provides website design, hosting, domain registration, and maintenance on a monthly subscription basis.

2. Monthly Subscription

  • Services are billed monthly in advance
  • Subscription fees start from R499 per month
  • Payment must be made before services commence

3. Minimum Term

A minimum 12-month agreement applies to all website packages unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Included Changes

Each package includes limited monthly updates:

  • Starter: 30 minutes per month
  • Growth: 1 hour per month
  • Pro: 2 hours per month

Unused time does not roll over to the next month.

5. Additional Work

Any work exceeding the included time will be billed at:
R450 per hour (or your preferred rate)

6. Domain & Hosting

  • Domain and hosting are included while subscription is active
  • If subscription is cancelled, domain transfer may be subject to fees
  • Website remains hosted on MJDesigns servers

7. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide content in a timely manner
  • Ensure content does not violate copyright laws
  • Ensure all supplied material is lawful

8. Payment Terms

  • Payments are due monthly
  • Late payments may result in website suspension
  • Services may be terminated after 14 days of non-payment

9. Cancellation

  • Cancellation allowed after minimum term
  • 30 days written notice required
  • Website may be removed after cancellation

10. Ownership

  • Website remains property of MJDesigns until minimum term is completed
  • After completion, transfer options may be discussed

11. Liability

MJDesigns is not liable for:

  • Loss of business
  • Loss of data
  • Downtime beyond our control
  • Third-party service failures

12. Support

Support is provided during normal business hours.

13. Changes to Terms

MJDesigns reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
